Consumer satisfaction with green energy and Ecogas: The independent consumer portal Verivox, together with t-online.de a survey on green electricity and Ecogas performed. The result: consumers who have opted for such a tariff are satisfied with their decision. Who has not yet been changed, especially fears of increased costs. Here the fears of customers are not entitled. Ökotarife in certain constellations significantly cheaper than the local primary care providers.

The survey, a total of 2246 consumers participated. Of the participants, gave 33 percent (729 in), refer to already have a green electricity tariff. 20 percent have only a green electricity tariff for a Ökogastarif held 90 percent would choose a Ökotarif again.

The fact that many customers have chosen a Ökotarif for electricity and gas has to do with a variety of reasons. Besides the desire to do something for the environment (96 percent), consumers want to contribute, through their choice of a Ökotarif to spur competition in the energy market (93 percent).

The experience of the surveyed consumers Ökotarifen this fall from mostly positive: 95 percent of respondents were satisfied with the provider change. Of the consumers who have already chosen a Ökotarif to 90 percent would again opt for a Ökotarif.
