Grease Monkey Wipes is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox which allows you to add scripts (usually referred to as "user scripts", written in Java script) in order to get the look or add browser functionality on a web page. After installing and restarting Firefox, Grease Monkey Wipes can be accessed via the menu Tools Grease Monkey Wipes or through the monkey icon in the status bar.
I experienced problems when installed on this computer when the installation is finished, and Firefox is restarted, Grease Monkey Wipes menu is available, but when it will add a new script does not happen any reaction when clicking the [Install]. Trying to see the Error Console (Tools - Error Console).
Fortunately, these problems are addressed in the new Greasespot few days into the new home for Greasemonkey. Solution:
* Create a new directory "gm_scripts" in the Firefox profile folder (Documents and Settings\[User Windows]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profil.default)
* In the gm_scripts new folder created, create a blank file and name the config.xml.
After that, Grease Monkey Wipes can install a new script.
