Google Maps Navigation On Android 1.6

A few weeks ago, Google has launched Google Maps Navigation (Beta) as a free feature of Google Maps on Android 2.0 devices. Currently Google has also expanded the availability of Google Maps Navigation for devices that run Android 1.6 (donut) or a newer version again, like T-Mobile myTouch 3G and the G1.

Google Maps is Navigtion GPS system connected to the internet with voice guidance and automatic rerouting, all of which can run on your phone. Use Google services through a telephone data connection that brings significant benefits to users GPS navigation, such as using Google Search (typed or spoken) to enter your destination, current location map, business, traffic data, and satellite and Street View imagery along your route.

This release also includes new Layer feature, which allows you to display geographic information on maps. View My Maps, transit lines, Wikipedia articles about places, and many more.

And for you who began to celebrate the holidays to travel late this year, you can enjoy the benefits of the Internet connection using the Google Maps navigation application for your personal virtual guide.

If you have a phone that operates with flat form Android 1.6, you can download the latest version of Google Maps from the Android market to become your Navigation device. Navigation Google Maps is a beta version. But unfortunately now only available to the United States & around it.
